Quality control is a process used to ensure quality in products. The main purpose of this system is to ensure that the company’s products meet the needs specified in the relevant standards. In GOLBARG Saffron Company, this process is performed by experts and up-to-date devices.

Saffron quality control is performed in the laboratory of GOLBARG Company according to the international standard 1-3632 and the national standard 1-259, which includes all the characteristics and grading of saffron. ISO 3632 standard is a classification based on the minimum requirements in the quality characteristics of saffron.

Products are tested upon arrival by a well-equipped quality control laboratory. Types of tests are performed based on defined standards for grading and other characteristics such as color (crocin), perfume (safranal), and flavor (picrocrocin) so that the product that reaches the customer, represents the quality of Iranian saffron.

After performing the necessary tests and quality assurance, the products are graded according to the saffron standard and sent to the production department for packaging and finally storing.OL
